Fall has such great lighting and colors

The weather said it was going to be awful out...but the sun just kept shinning.
Everyone bundled up and headed out to a local park.
Funny enough I think the grown man was harder to capture than the lil men, they were all having alot of fun in the sun.

Boys and tractors no matter their age always make for fun.

Enjoy

The weather turned out great for this cute little family

I roll over in bed this morning and what do I hear???
OH NO Rain!!! and I have a family shoot at 2pm.
So as my family and I enjoyed our morning out I dreaded this weather but alas it cleared in Nanaimo, but my shoot was in Victoria at the beautiful Royal Roads University. I texted my customer and she was just as nervous as I was...we decided to go for it and hope for the best, after all this is Vancouver island and the weather changes all the time.

I met their sweet family in the parking lot (NO RAIN YAY) as their dog Sky fetched a bright blue disc.
It was great to see them right away interacting like such a cute little family.

As we walked up to the castle we tried our best to avoid the mass amounts of national birds doodoo but it was pretty hard.

They were so great to shoot and such troopers as they uncovered their lovely outfits for the day.

Here is a sneak peek of their photos.

I hope you enjoy. I truly enjoyed meeting all of them and grabbing some fun family photos.

It would be almost impossible to say no to this face

They even got into the Movember spirit of things

Why not...are you really going to wear it again?

During the summer I had my friends get into their old wedding dresses and play around in the dirt.
It was my first trash the dress shoot and I sure hope it won't be my last. We all had such a great time! The girls were so easy to shoot and really got into it (with a teeny bit of liquid courage for those not driving).

It seems so wrong to those of the past generation to not store up that wedding dress and save it for your possible daughter...but really fashions change so fast and many people only have one child these days so what are the likely hoods that your supposed daughter will wear your dress anyway.

Hence our generations has taken this fun route of reliving that beautiful dress in a new way with photos to treasure those moments instead of a dusty old mildew gathering dress in a box.

Well here is a sneak peek of some of my favourites from the day.

Enjoy

Small and Precious

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of capturing some lovely images of little miss Aria.
She was a dream baby to work with.
The shots turned out like I planned which is always great, and as usual her mom was such a big help.
Next time we will get her big sister in the shots with her.

This is my first time blogging so I am both nervous and excited.

I hope you all enjoy the photos as I truly enjoyed taking them.
